and like the color of the track we ran upon

with the absence of your usual company

like that of the wine you sip

with ‘no solitude’ in your ship,

and like that of the velvet that delicately drape over




your ‘no solitude’-causing company

and like that of the gruesome crime thriller stories

I write for your beloved company

my cheeks turn to such a shade

that is painful to rub of my face as I see you

that blinds my heart and hopefully yours too
