THE BREATH OF EXISTENCE
A lamp of light, the Breath,
illuminates each survival’s flight.
Through every organ’s vital art,
it sparks the beaƟng, living heart.
An infant’s first, eternal start;
when breath sƟlls, life departs.
The distance between start and end is life.
Millions of beings – walking, flying, crawling, unseen, each life connected to air and water’s stream.
Struggling in life, focus, holding breath unaware,
yet breath’s unwavering consistency centers all.
Life’s journey, ceaseless,
a migraƟon to unknown shores.
Life is a quest, profound and deep,
not knowing meaning, but a search of desire,
a quest of life, life as quest,
the very aim of existence.
EssenƟal to this universal flow:
the simple act of inhale, exhale,
a truly universal thread.
