The Best Teacher

What was life and what has it become,

Happiness or pain, whatever life gives, why don’t we welcome?

To bear everything, yes, I am strong and capable,

But life without pain, will that ever be possible?

In journey of life, we meet people both, good and bad,

But we never make good choices, do we?, But damn, I’m glad.

Sometimes, our wrong choices disturb our life’s flow,

But if we didn’t face the worst, how’d we even grow?

Why don’t we flow with this blend of happiness and sorrow,

After all, the pain of today is the victory of tomorrow

Only if we could accept that life can’t always be right,

Only if we admit that life is always going to be grey, and never just black or white

Probably, that’s how we’ll ever learn to fight.

Life was never about the past, the present or the future

Life has so many meanings and purposes that are deeper,

Life sometimes makes you strong and sometimes weaker,

Don’t believe the grapevine or the other preachers,

Believe yourself always, after all life is the best teacher
