The Beginnings We Never See

By Treesa Mariyam Varghese

There is peace in the moment once we feared. When it happens exactly as we feared, we realize that nothing has changed, even the situation. We are back to square one, and does that change anything? No, we are exactly in the same situation as when we started. I guess it’s not the end but a beginning – a beautiful beginning of an unknown end. The end was never known to anyone, but still, everyone walks on that path. Some get stuck in the fear of the end, even though they’ve been on the same road at different places. They’re still pondering the situation at the end, which makes the road completely strange to them. So, every time they’re on that road, they seem scared and predict they’ll never make it out of this. But the truth is that they have never started yet. Believe me, if you’re scared to get on that road, thinking you’ll never make it to the end, it’s only starting from there. What’s there at the end is new to everyone. Everyone is just walking through the road, just like you. Capture what you see on that road; those are your lessons, which can help you on the journey.
