'She is a bitter soul,’

‘Her words are biting; they leave a mark deep,'

‘Her wretched words leave an echo like a bull zweep,’

I heard them knit bales of harsh tales.

So, he brought a flock of quails,

All her skeins tangled; laid bare,

Her cynical soul, now cloaked in despair.

‘She was a beacon, guiding us through years,’

‘She supported us all, like a true Cavalier.’

'More than a leader, a companion through the years'

The ones who called her wretched now weep by her grave,

Those who knit the unkind tales, now engraving her praise.

No longer is she called cruel or sly,

She is now liken to the ibis in sky.

Is this grief at work,

Or is it the guilt that changed their minds.

Also possible that they didn't, and it is just one of society's 'refined designs'.
