The Anxious One

Could actually write a book about her insecurity,

Whether it be physical or mental,

It gave her anxiety.

Starting from her hair, ending on her legs,

There was nothing for which,

She didn't really beg.

The acne, the patches and the scars,

All she wanted was,

To get rid of the ugly stretch marks.

Had a hard time believing the compliments she ever got,

Since years to accept herself,

She was fighting her thoughts.

Always being the target of the group,

Was nothing but just,

A cherry on the top

Maybe she was in pretty enough,

Maybe it's because her hair wasn’t silky

And the skin was rough.

Was she actually pretty?

Like people always said?

Her confidence got devoured by the anxiety.
