The Anhedonic Smile
By Jash Doshi
He leered at the page with scandalous lust,
Leeched emotions from mistress his,
Fumbled with words to quench her thirst,
Grappled fought as much there was to seize.
Bursting the walls the dam then burst,
Labile, he cried, tears a fresh round of breeze.
At three, darkness, gave him word his first...
Tangents slowed, but words still his flowed,
Making love, life he made, God that he was,
The introvert expressed, silently he screamed..
Frustration was rife, his life was chaos,
His words compensate, an alter ego is formed,
Ailing or well, or jubilant anger, with words he copes,
At six as the poem breathe, the anhedonic smiled!
