The Actor

Let me tell you a story of a boy who wished empathy, no sympathy he craved

Living four blocks away from the rails yet he never set a foot on those floors

Off he goes! from his home, where his parents seldom stay but his grandparents

are for him to stay

And as he trades, to a city from for a town For a degree he we wishes to earn

He finds a girl, he falls in love

and here the story begins.

-LIE LA LIE-

They nestled by the sunset

Sunrise started by them canoodling

"What a wonderful world! " he said it at once

Does the city offer so much faith to a hopeless boy from upstate? Hmm-Hmm And so his life began to seem—like one in the movies, all the movements and moments meticulously maintained

And then came the valentine's,

He showered ther with sunflowers for her to shine

Later that night, they would toil on the streets, hand in hand as they let their glances meet and to wake up next morning—cuddling,

and so here the story begins

- LIE - LA - LIE-

Till this day, he was madly in love like a medley unheard, humming

Like a brook that changes stream

Like the sun controls the sun - stream

She was tricked into crowning the Queen of a Marionette's realm

And so they faded like the stardust

No more nights of warm hugs

Like the titanic, they sank

And on the shore stands the actor,

who played many parts of lover and yet his heart was still in parts, mhm - hmm

Every love story starts when romance tears apart and your soul gets too heavy for your heart

All your confederates turn to enemies

And your love is now an anomaly

Look how the tables turn- hmm-hmm

And then he says, the city is no kind,

It’s pity for him to not find some love,

it's just a lie
