That Tree

Caste religion ethnicities sects

All comes under one fact

Why are we separated into communities?

When the fact states us as seed of humanity.

Earth a stage, what a show!

Men living together yet hardly they know

About each other, they care

Though in needs no one is there

As the same seed were brought into living

Separately were then forced into caste believing

In paradise only humanity was in lead

Division started on earth to heed

Adam and eve met as human

No religion was there woven

Humanity they spread, love in the air

That was the world free of foul and fair.

Seed that grew turned into stem

Stood with different beliefs fixed into them

Beliefs separated men with men

Humanity losing, how it can?

Paradise full of humankind

Earth burdened with sicken mind.

What is left to yet find?

Everyone wants the other to grind.

Stem that spread turned into boughs

To kill the Love, they take vows

Like branches, love spread

For religious sake, humans trade

They say- love sees no bar

But when it comes to caste, why do they take it so far?

In religion’s name, lovers- they kill, trap them tight

Love smiles from the summits of its height.

Branches that bud out the leaves

Colours they scatter makes them weep.

Tears of joy for them

Tears of separation for men

Colours today divide our unity

Ministers worship division as their duty.

They learn and succeed in divide and rule

We humans fight, are we fool?

A tree in heaven threw man on earth

This tree of belief divided men by birth.

Leaving behind the eternal glory

Men moves to its decay steady n slowly.

No where is the mark of Cain

Communalism attacked us as toxic bane.

Isn’t there any cure? They ask

Unity cries behind the mask.
