That Time

There was a time when I was always sad.

Without any reason I was always mad.

I used to overthink for hours.

Took long and warm showers.

I was always on my phone.

To see if someone’s giving happiness on loan.

I had a home called bed.

But I had my entire life ahead.

Just on one such fine day.

I stood in front of the mirror just to hear what my other side has to say.

She told me go out.

Explore new people and places without any doubt.

I finally decided.

To leave the place where I resided.

I tried stepping out of my comfort zone.

Every negative thing in me was thrown.

With time I tried to be happy again.

After that I never ever visited that lane.
