That Pretty Lake

One pretty lake by the roadside was long enough to keep me engaged while we returned from the trip.

Several windows and a street light volunteered to make the lake prettier.

They offered their beams of colourful rays which adorned the lake's exterior.

But it seemed to me in those fifty seconds that the lake had lot to lament.

What if it was done hearing “pretty” and awaited being asked about its interior?
