That Last Professional Note

That last note and they call it farewell

They penned for all and I scripted one for each

They extended for all strangers too

Those sweet lies I couldn’t fake

So wrote only to who I meant

Some minutes of gossips

Some hours of working

It’s rising sun and in sometime will be falling stars

That’s how the days begin and will in no time be an end

Will stay some miles apart

But definitely close to be in memories

With each passing day, and a day closer to last

I try hard to move, detach and depart

Unsure of the time, unaware of the future

World is really tiny, and can’t say it’s impossible

For our paths to cross, for which I pray

Few old memories, flashback, work to share

Miles apart where our sun sets and your sun rises ,a colleague from west!

We meet, we greet and we keep it along

Grateful for all those little moments

Apologies for all my erring

It ends not here, cause’ world is tiny

And the opportunities are many

Our meeting was vague

A colleague and a friend one in both

That floor that tower says a story long

Miles apart, memories fresh

Bond we made, the talks we had

Days passed scrolling through the screen

All I wish for that breakthrough and scream

A life full of dimples through giggles
