Thank You Corona

I am a girl from a village far away

For years I have only seen skies full of grey,

And roads full of cars every day

It’s absolutely true what I say.

Thank You corona, though you have taken

lives

Yet you made us remember that humanity

forever thrives,

You taught how one really survives,

You showed us life isn’t full of strives.

Now that a cure is what everyone is trying to

find

All are keeping their necessities behind,

All are trying to stay confined,

Everyone has learned, all of mankind.

Thank You Corona, because of you we have

learned from the mistakes we have done,

For us destroying nature is no more fun,

So please stop what you have begun

Before you wipe out everyone.

Thank You Corona for making us realize that

for nature we humans were distressing.

Because of you, great happiness is what it is

possessing,

Because of you our bond with our families

are progressing,

But also because of you, great fear is what

people are experiencing

For us, the end of this road is within reach

Because patience is what we preach,

And with peace and calmness we teach,

Not by jeopardizing each.

Stop! Because we have learned to be merry,

Now we know being afraid isn’t necessary

True, for some of us, you still might be

scary.

But one day you will just be a very old story.
