Th School Days

Those times for long had to perish...

The sweetest days I'd forever relish!

Gone are those days I could cherish

There's nothing so pure now... everything comes with a blemish!

Basking in those grounds, I'd never get weary

Now every single step to take feels so dreary

Even days filled with gloom would then bloom

With time happiness has left my room!

Those little pen fights used to lighten my mood

I drooped down so low, that sarcasm also seems rude

Teasing friends then felt like a hobby

Its just the lonely me still lingering in that lobby!

They were the most selfless people i met

Socialising now feels like a threat

There were times I'd go even if sick

I'd purposefully bunk now cuz its so toxic!

Looking in my eye they could catch my fear

No matter how loud I mourn, no one pretends to hear

I wish I could treasure those near

For they never let me shed a tear!

From then, I broke and made a lot of ties

Gazing at the naked skies I realise how time flies

Chasing the smile that lost its way

I hope school could let me stay!

For those were the only days so true...

Dear school, I really miss you💔💔
