Terrorizing Fears
By Trisha Prasad
In a world she’s built in her fantasy,
She is a victim of her own fears.
As she tries to manipulate the catastrophe,
Her peace shatters and disappears.
As she struggles against her own fears,
Her own battle scars she nurses.
And each time a new enemy appears,
The thoughts she’s plagued with worsens
As darkness descends, her anxiety shows
Even in a world she’s created in her head.
There’s crimson on her face and on her clothes,
And her hand is stained red.
She frantically tries to scrub it off
The wrongs, the fear and the blame.
Into large terrorizing figures they morph.
Each thought takes shape into a cruel game.
