Territory Uncharted

You left me here to finish what you started

with unfulfilled promises of Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow flowers

Now, I wander through the architecture of the departed

You left me here to finish what you started

the Ghost of what might have been stripping me of my power

I wander through the architecture of the departed

The hallways within the architecture of the departed

are a shambles: puzzle pieces scattered like icing sugar powder

You left me here to finish what you started

Yes, you left me here to finish what you started

sitting across from you, finally playing that game at this late hour

-my Dissociation had started- as I wander through the architecture of the departed

And, in my mind’s eye, wandering through the architecture of the departed

painful memories of past intimacy flooded; I could no longer reap from the sower

You left me here to finish what you started

You left me here to finish what you started

I was swiftly devoured

I’d ventured into territory uncharted…

Broken, I still wander through the architecture of the departed
