Logline: A hot-headed video editor and her calm and composed new boss keep bumping into each other, literally, and their hilarious fights slowly turn into something real. But just when they finally fall for each other, she discovers the darkest truth possible; his dad is the man who killed hers. Now the two have to choose whether love can survive betrayal, family scars, and the mess their parents left behind.
Synopsis: Tere Mere Darmiyaan is about a girl named Aarohi (22 years old, a charming and loving girl with a little attitude and anger issues). She is a Video Editor at Creative Tales Advertising Company and a boy named Kabir (24 years old, a tall, calm and composed man who doesn’t react much but when he does, it’s with quiet intensity). He is a newly appointed Managing Director in the same company. The two meet each other as strangers and have fights over silly things. Each time, they decide not to meet again, destiny conspires to unite them. After several meetings and fights, they eventually become good friends and after several ups and downs in their life, they become a cute and inseparable couple.
Their first meeting happens in a busy market where Aarohi is seen walking around with multiple shopping bags in her hands and a purse hanging on her shoulder and Kabir is seen walking with his phone in his hand. They bump into each other because of which Aarohi falls down along with her shopping bags. Though Kabir helps her pick up her bags, Aarohi gets annoyed at him and starts shouting at him for not looking ahead while walking. Their little bump turns into a huge and chaotic fight in seconds. Aarohi tells him to get lost and never bump into her again. But destiny had other plans.
Their second meeting happens in a school where Aarohi is there to drop her little brother, Arjun and Kabir is there to drop his niece, Avni. Kabir drives his car in full speed and unknowingly hits the side of Aarohi's car. Aarohi gets really annoyed and does the same with Kabir's car not knowing who is there in the car. She then gets off her car and breaks the car’s window with a stone. That’s when Kabir pulls his car window down and comes out of his car and they again get into a chaotic fight.
Their third meeting happens at the office where Aarohi discovers that Kabir is the new Managing Director of the company. That’s when their fights increase and Kabir's eyes are always on Aarohi.
Over the next few days, their constant clashes and chaotic interactions slowly turn into playful moments, and they begin getting comfortable around each other.
After a few days, Aarohi gets a call from her boyfriend saying that he wants to break up with her because of her egoistic nature. That’s when Kabir starts sympathizing Aarohi and they become good friends. They start talking to each other and sharing things with each other which eventually makes them really good friends. They have moments which make them love each other.
Aarohi calls Kabir home one day to meet her mother. When Aarohi's mother asks Kabir about his parents, she finds out his father’s name and gets furious. She immediately sends Kabir away and tells Aarohi to stay away from him. Confused, Aarohi begs her mom to tell her the reason but her mom refuses to tell her anything. After a few days, Aarohi finds a file which reveals the biggest truth hidden from her. She finds out that Kabir's dad was the reason for her dad’s death and that Kabir's dad had killed her dad. After knowing the truth, Aarohi starts hating Kabir and she starts staying away from him.
Kabir eventually discovers the truth and confronts his father, setting a trap to make him confess to Kunal's murder. During her investigation with her lawyer friend, Aarohi discovers that Kabir was the one who put his own father behind bars. She realizes her mistake and goes to Kabir's house to ask for forgiveness. She gets emotional seeing paintings of her in Kabir's room. When Aarohi asks for punishment, Kabir decides to punish her in a way which will not hurt her but instead make both of them happy. He takes Aarohi on a coffee date.
They start getting close again and eventually, Aarohi takes out courage and proposes Kabir and obviously, he agrees. Aarohi convinces her mom that Kabir is a great guy and is the best choice. Her mom hesitates but seeing Kabir’s loving and caring nature, she agrees to get the two married.
On her big day, Aarohi misses her dad who wished to get his princess married in the best way. Her mom on the other hand, gets emotional as she’s about to send her daughter away from her.
When the baraat arrives and Kabir is heading to meet Aarohi, Arjun leaves no chance to tease him and take money from him.
As the rituals get over, Aarohi shares one last emotional moment with her mom and Arjun. She then leaves with Kabir, looking one last time at the house she was born in.
FADE IN
EXT. MARKET - DAY
A young girl, named AAROHI who is in her 20s is a charming girl with full of love but a little bit of attitude and anger. In a busy market full of shops and consumers, Aarohi is seen walking around with multiple shopping bags in her hands and a purse hanging on her shoulder. She suddenly bumps into someone and falls down with her purse and shopping bags. The man who she bumps into, helps her pick up her things. Once they are done, Aarohi stands up holding her things in her hand. She stares at the man angrily.
AAROHI
Andhe ho kya? Dekh ke nahi chal sakte? Tumhari wajah se main gir gayi.
KABIR straightens up slowly, brushing off the dust from his sleeves. He is tall, calm and composed, a kind of man who doesn’t react fast but when he does, it’s with great intensity. Kabir crosses his arms and smiles teasingly and sarcastically.
Kabir
Andha aur main? Andhi to tum ho jo dekh ke nahi chal sakti. Dusro par ungli uthaane se pehle na khud ko dekh liya karo. Stupid girl!
Kabir is about to leave from there but Aarohi holds his arm and stops him. She stares at him with full anger.
AAROHI
Excuse me! Kya kaha tumne? Stupid? Ladkiyon se baat karne ki tameez nahi hai kya? Agli baar se dekh ke chalna. Aur apne yeh chashme utaar do. Inhe pehan ke bhi tumhe kuch dikhayi nahi deta.
Aarohi takes off his sunglasses. She throws and breaks them. Kabir stares at her with his sharp eyes.
kABIR
Are you out of your mind? Aapki himmat kaise hui mere chashme todne ki?
aAROHI
Shukar manaao sirf chashme tode hai. Mann to kar raha hai tumhara sar fod du.
kABIR
God! Kitni thankless hai aap. Maine yaha aapki help ki aur aap ho ki mujhse hi lad rahe ho?
Aarohi keeps her bags down and crosses her arms.
aAROHI
Oh! To tum chahte ho ki main tumhe mujhe aur mere samaan ko giraane ke liye thank you bolu? Theek hai phir. Thank you... Whatever your name is.
Her smile immediately turns into anger. She points her finger at him.
aAROHI
Now, get lost. Aur khabardaar agar dobaara mere saamne bhi aaye to.
She picks up her things and turns away to leave from there when she hears Kabir's voice.
kABIR
Kabir. Mera naam Kabir hai. Jitna common naam, utna usse bhulna mushkil.
Aarohi leaves from there without turning around towards Kabir.
INT. aarohi's ROOM - DAY
Next morning, Aarohi's little brother, Arjun runs to her room, wearing his school uniform to wake her up. He jumps and sits on her bed.
arjun
Didi... Didi... Jaldi utho.
AAROHI
(SLEEPY)
Kya hai Arjun? Sone do mujhe.
arJUN
Meri bus miss ho gayi. Mujhe school chod do na please. Agar main late ho gaya to teacher mujhe class ke baahar murga bana degi.
Aarohi gets up half sleepy and half angry. She pulls Arjun's ears.
aAROHI
Kitni baar bola hai time se utha karo. Tum ek kaan se sunte ho aur dusre kaan se nikal dete ho.
Arjun clutches his ears and looks at Aarohi with his innocent eyes.
arJUN
Ahh! Ahh! Main kal se pakka jaldi uthunga. Promise.
Aarohi leaves his ears, gets off the bed and starts tying her hair.
aaROHI
Tumhara yeh roz ka ho gaya hai. Roz main tumhari personal driver ban jaati hu.
Arjun jumps off the bed and runs and hugs Aarohi.
arJUN
I Love You, didi. Aap na world ki best didi ho.
aAROHI
Makhan lagana band karo. Bag uthao aur meri car ke saamne wait karo. Main aati hoon.
Arjun runs out of the room. Aarohi quickly ties her hair, grabs her car keys and leaves from the room.
EXT. OUTSIDE SCHOOL - DAY
Aarohi and Arjun reach near school when a car comes from behind in full speed and hits her car from the side. Aarohi and Arjun get shocked and angry.
Arjun
Tumhari himmat kaise hui hamari gaadi ko takkar maarne ki? Main abhi iski band bajaake aaya.
aAROHI
Ruk jaao Arjun. Iski band to main bajaungi. Apni seat belt tight karlo. Kyunki ab... stunt hone wala hai.
Aarohi drives the car in full speed and hits the car from the side. The car stops. Aarohi then gets off her car, picks up a stone and breaks the car window.
aAROHI
Yahi nateeja hota hai meri gaadi se takraane ka.
The person in the car pulls down their window. Aarohi sees that the guy inside is Kabir. She folds her arms.
aAROHI
Oh! To tum ho. You know what? You deserved it.
Kabir gets off his car in anger.
KABIR
Paagal ho gayi ho kya? Meri gaadi ka sheesha todne ki himmat kaise hui?
aAROHI
Tumne pehle meri gaadi ko thoka. Tumhe kya laga? Main tumhari pooja karungi?
kABIR
Oh Please! Maine jaan bujhkar aapki gaadi nahi thoki. Wo to koi idiot tha jisne bina warning ke break di. Maine usse bachne ke liye gaadi modi. Yeh sirf ek accident tha.
He looks at the shattered glass and then back at her.
KABIR
Aur aapne kuch jaanne ki bhi koshish nahi ki. Seedha attack kar diya. You have to pay for these damages.
Aarohi points her finger at Kabir.
aAROHI
Just get lost and don’t you dare follow me again.
Just then a little girl comes out of Kabir's car. She goes towards Aarohi.
GIRL
Excuse me! Aap mere chachu ko daant kyu rahe ho?
Kabir bends down at the girl’s level.
KABIR
Koi baat nahi Avni. Didi bas thodi upset hai.
He gets up and faces Aarohi.
kABIR
Just for your information, Mujhe koi shauk nahi aapka peecha karne ka. Main to yaha bas apni bhatiji ko chodne aaya tha.
aAROHI
Chalo yaha se Arjun.
Aarohi walks away while Arjun keeps standing there admiring Avni. He cutely brings his hand forward.
arJUN
Hi Avni. I’m Arjun.
Avni ignores him and looks at him in a way that tells that she is not interested to talk to him. Aarohi sees Arjun standing there. She goes to him and grabs his arm.
aAROHI
Ab der nahi ho rahi kya? Chalo jaldi se.
Aarohi takes Arjun away from there. Avni also goes inside. Kabir gets a call from his brother. He picks up the call.
kABIR
Ji bhaiya. Maine Avni ko school chod diya hai.
BROTHER
Thank you so much Kabir last minute par aane ke liye. Main chod deta par tumhari bhabhi aur main dono kaam ke liye late ho rahe the.
kABIR
Isme thank you bolne ki koi zaroorat nahi hai. Avni meri beti jaisi hai. Koi bhi zaroorat ho mujhe bata dena. Aapka yeh chota bhai haazir ho jaayega. Abhi main rakhta hoon. Baad mein baat karte hain. Bye.
Kabir cuts the call. He leaves from there in his car.
INT. Aarohi's HOUSE - DAY
Aarohi goes back home after dropping Arjun to school. She quickly gets ready and rushes out when her mother stops her.
MOM
Aarohi, breakfast karlo. Khali pet ghar se nahi nikalte.
aAROHI
Nahi Ma. Abhi nahi. Main late ho rahi hu.
MOM
Tum hamesha jaldi mein rehti ho. Kam se kam ek glass doodh peeke jaao. Aise hi breakfast skip karti rahi to bimaar pad jaaogi.
aAROHI
Tension mat lo Ma. Fruits ka dabba hai mere paas. Office pahunchte hi khaa lungi. Love you. Bye.
Aarohi rushes out, sits in her car and leaves for office.
INT. OFFICE - DAY
Aarohi enters her office. As soon as she goes to her desk, a colleague comes to her.
COLLEAGUE
Aaj itni late?
AAROHI
Wo main Arjun ko school chodne gayi thi. Isliye late ho gayi.
COLLEAGUE
Yeh baat boss ko jaake samjha. Bohot gusse mein hai wo.
aAROHI
Boss gusse mein? Kya mazaak kar rahi hai tu? Itna thanda aadmi garam kabse hone lag gaya?
COLLEAGUE
Are! Main tujhe bataana bhool gayi. Naya MD aaya hai company mein. Unhe late aane wale employees se sakth nafrat hai. Wo tujhse milna chahte hai. So, All the best.
aAROHI
Theek hai. Jaati hu.
As the colleague leaves, Aarohi sighs and walks towards the MD's cabin.
INT. BOSS’S CABIN - DAY
Aarohi reaches the MD's cabin. His chair is turned around. She knocks on the door.
aAROHI
May I come in boss?
BOSS
Yes, come in.
Aarohi goes in. Her phone falls down so she bends to pick it up. When she comes up, she gets shocked to see the boss.
aAROHI
Tum??
Kabir stands up from his chair in shock and disbelief.
kABIR
Oh! To tum ho Ms. Aarohi Awasthi. Wow! Karma it seems. Jiss ladki ne mere chashme tode, meri gaadi ka kaanch toda aur mujh par ilzaam lagaya, wo ladki ab mere under kaam karegi.
Kabir laughs softly in disbelief.
KABIR
Well, agar universe ka yahi decision hai to tumhe torture karne mein bohot maza aayega.
aAROHI
Mujhe abhi bhi yakeen nahi ho raha ki tum... Tum naye MD ho. Pata nahi Board ne kya dekh ke tumhe yaha ka MD banaya.
Kabir crosses his arms.
kABIR
Board Talent aur Experience dekhta hai. Jo mujh mein tumse zyaada hi hai. Anyways, I need explanation. Right now!
aAROHI
What explanation?
kABIR
Yeh bhi mujhe batana padega?
Kabir bangs his hand on his desk in anger. Aarohi flinches.
kABIR
Tum aadha ghanta late ho Madam. Yeh office hai, tumhara ghar nahi jo jab marzi ho aao aur jab marzi ho chali jaao. I need explanation.
Right now!
Aarohi crosses her arms.
aAROHI
Explanation chahiye? To suno! Mere late hone ka reason tum ho Mr. Kabir.
KABIR
Pehli baat yeh ki main tumhara boss hu. Sir bulao mujhe. Aur dusri baat, meri wajah se kaise late hui tum?
AAROHI
Oh ha! Main to bhool gayi thi. Boss ho tum mere. Tabhi to Aap se Tum tak pahunchne mein der nahi lagayi tumne. Aur agar tum bhool rahe ho to main yaad dila deti hu. School mein agar tumne meri gaadi nahi thoki hoti na to main office time par pahunchti.
kABIR
That’s not my problem. Tumhe time management seekhne ki zaroorat hai. Maine tumhe ek project file mail ki hai. 2 ghante mein mujhe edit complete chahiye.
AAROHI
Tumhe sach mein lagta hai main tumhare under kaam karungi? No way! Main aaj hi apna resignation de dungi. Mere paas talent bhi hai aur experience bhi. Mujhe isse better company mein job mil jaayegi.
kABIR
Main 100% guarantee ke sath keh sakta hu ki tumhe Creative Tales se better company milegi hi nahi. Chahiye to shart laga lo.
Aarohi turns around to leave from the cabin but Kabir steps forward and blocks her way.
kABIR
Tumhe sach mein lagta hai ki ek email likh dene se tum resign kar sakti ho? Aisa kabhi nahi hoga. Jab tak main resignation papers par sign nahi karta, tab tak tum kahi nahi jaa sakti. At least not until I'm done with you. Tum mein talent hai na? So prove it. Maine tumhe 2 ghante diye the task complete karne ke liye. 15 minute to tumne yahi waste kar diye. 1 ghanta 45 minute bacha hai tumhare paas. I expect a perfect edit. Bilkul tumhare nishaane ki tarah.
Aarohi leaves from there without saying anything.
INT. Aarohi's DESK - DAY
Aarohi goes to her desk, opens the project file and starts doing her work. After sometime, Kabir comes to her desk.
kABIR
So Miss Awasthi, kaha tak pahunchi tumhari editing.
aAROHI
Sirf 10 minute hi hue hai. Abhi to maine bas timeline mein videos add ki hai.
kABIR
Tum to professional ho na? You should be quick.
Kabir leaves from there. Aarohi continues doing her work. Again after sometime, Kabir comes to Aarohi's desk.
KABIR
Kya status hai Aarohi?
Aarohi sighs heavily.
aAROHI
Tum yaha 5 minute pehle aaye the. Main insaan hu, robot nahi.
kABIR
Maine kab kaha ki tum robot ho? Tumhi ne kaha tha na ki tum experienced aur professional ho? Jaldi kaam karo. 10 minute mein client meeting hai. Unhe tumhara kal ka edit dekhna hai.
Kabir leaves from there.
aAROHI
Ughh!! I hate this man!
INT. MEETING ROOM - DAY
After 10 minutes, Aarohi goes to the meeting room to present her edit. She stands in front of everyone, ready to present.
aAROHI
I’m ready. Main video shuru karu?
CLIENT 1
Ha bilkul. Hum sab to bohot excited hai edit dekhne ke liye.
Aarohi presents her edit to the clients. Once the video is over, all the clients clap for her. Everyone smiles except Kabir.
CLIENT 2
It’s really impressive. Kabir, I must say, you’ve got the best employees. Hume yeh edit bohot pasand aaya. Yeh hamare brand ko suit bhi karega.
kABIR
Thank you so much. I really appreciate it.
Client 1
Ab hume chalna chahiye. Hum chahte hai ki hamara agla project bhi aap log hi handle kare.
The clients leave from there leaving Aarohi and Kabir alone in the cabin.
kABIR
Theek tha. Aur behtar ho sakta tha.
aAROHI
Maine vaise bhi tumse koi taarif expect nahi ki thi.
kABIR
Tumhare paas project khatam karne ke liye bas aadha ghanta hai.
aAROHI
Aadha ghanta? Abhi to bohot kaam baaki hai. Aadhe ghante mein khatam karna impossible hai.
kABIR
Professionals ke liye kuch impossible nahi hota. Apne desk par jaao aur kaam khatam karo.
Aarohi goes from the meeting room.

INT. kabir's cabin - DAY 1
Aarohi goes to Kabir's cabin and shows him the edit with a proud smile on her face.
Kabir gives a dismissive thumb-down.
Aarohi's proud smile disappears.
She rolls her eyes and walks out.
INT. OFFICE - DAY 2
Aarohi is sitting at her desk when a bunch of emails start popping up in her laptop.
She looks at Kabir who touches his watch signaling she has less time.
Aarohi gets annoyed.
She dramatically puts her head down.
INT. OFFICE - DAY 3
Aarohi and Kabir walk towards each other from opposite directions.
They both move to the same side.
Then the other side.
Then back again.
They finally squeeze past each other, both rolling their eyes.
INT. OFFICE - DAY 4
Aarohi walks past Kabir carrying a glass of water.
Someone rushes past Aarohi and bumps into her.
The water spills all over Kabir's shirt.
Aarohi freezes.
Kabir looks down at his wet shirt and then slowly looks at her in annoyance.
Aarohi gives him an awkward smile and quickly walks away.
Kabir shakes his head.
INT. KABIR'S cabin - DAY 5
Aarohi is in Kabir's cabin, stacking some files.
She turns around and bumps into Kabir.
He immediately holds her as she's about to fall.
They accidently make eye contact and stay in the position for some time.
Aarohi gets uncomfortable. She nudges Kabir's leg with hers
Kabir jumps in pain.
Aarohi straightens herself and leaves from the cabin.
INT. OFFICE - DAY 6
Aarohi is struggling with an edit.
Kabir goes to her desk and helps her fix her mistake.
Aarohi looks at him in disbelief.
Kabir signals that the edit looks good.
He walks away from there.
Aarohi smiles as she watches him leave.

INT. AAROHI'S DESK - EVENING
Aarohi is doing her work when her phone starts ringing. She picks up the call.
AAROHI
Hello...
INT. kabir's CABIN - EVENING
Kabir is checking his mails.
KaBIR
(to himself)
Iss ladki ne abhi tak project submit nahi kiya. Abhi jaake khabar leta hu iski.
Kabir leaves his cabin.
INT. AAROHI'S DESK - EVENING
Kabir comes out of his cabin and sees Aarohi on call.
KaBIR
(to himself)
Poora din phone pe hi lagi rehti hai.
He goes to Aarohi's desk and stops as he sees tears in her eyes.
KABIR
Aarohi... tum theek ho?
Aarohi doesn't respond.
KABIR
Aarohi...
Aarohi looks at him. She cuts the call and wipes her tears. She stands up from her chair.
AAROHI
I'm... I'm sorry. Main tumhe dekha nahi.
KABIR
Kaha khoyi hui thi tum? Aur tumhari aankhon mein yeh aasun? Sab theek to hai na?
Aarohi quickly wipes her tears and looks away.
AAROHI
Haan... sab theek hai. Wo mujhe puchna tha... kya main aaj thoda jaldi ghar jaa sakti hoon? Meri tabiyat theek nahi lag rahi.
Kabir remains silent for a while.
KABIR
Tum ghar chali gayi to tumhara kaam kaun khatam karega.
AAROHI
Main kar lungi khatam. Please... main jaaun.
Kabir notices her red teary eyes.
KABIR
Theek hai. Tum jaao. Kal milte hai.
Kabir leaves from there. Aarohi collects her things and leaves from the office.
INT. KABIR'S CABIN - EVENING
Kabir watches Aarohi leave. He starts thinking about her.
KABIR
(to himself)
Mujhe itni fikar kyu ho rahi hai uski?
Kabir leans back in his chair, his eyes fixed on the door through which Aarohi just left.
EXT. RIVERBANK - EVENING
On her way back, Aarohi sees an empty riverbank. She parks her car, gets off and goes to the riverbank. She sees stones around her. She picks up the stones and starts throwing them in the water. She sits down and starts crying. Kabir is driving back home when he sees a familiar figure sitting near the riverbank. He pulls down his window and sees Aarohi's car. He parks his car near hers. He gets off the car and goes towards Aarohi. He softly touches her shoulder.
kABIR
Aarohi!
Aarohi gets scared. She immediately wipes her tears. Kabir sits beside her. Aarohi looks away and tries not to make eye contact with him.
kabir
Aarohi, tum theek ho?
aAROHI
Ha main theek hoon. Tum yaha kyu aaye ho?
kABIR
Kyunki maine tumhe yaha akele baith kar rote hue dekha. Main jitna bura dikhta hoon, utna hoon nahi. Mujhe apne employees ki fikar hai.
Aarohi gives a fake laugh.
aAROHI
Fikar? Tumhe kabse apne employees ki fikar hone lagi? Wo bhi meri?
kABIR
Main na bilkul nariyal jaisa hu. Baahar se sakht par andar se bilkul naram. I know maine tumhe bohot torture kiya aaj but that was just revenge for breaking my sunglasses and car. Par main tumhe yaha aise akele rote hue to nahi chod sakta na?
aAROHI
Vaise to mujhe tum kuch khaas pasand nahi ho par phir bhi, I'm sorry. Mujhe tumhare chashme aur car ka sheesha nahi todna chahiye tha. Mujh mein na bohot attitude aur ego hai. Aur gussa... like a cherry on top. Jab main gusse mein hoti hoon, mujhe khud samajh nahi aata main kya kar rahi hoon. Aur issi attitude aur ego ne meri zindagi barbaad kar di hai.
She slowly looks at him.
aAROHI

Kabir slowly looks towards her.

Main aisa aadmi nahi hu jo kisi ko khush karne ke liye jhooth bole. Agar mujhe kisi ko khush karna hi hota na to main usko sab sach bolta. I mean every damn word that I just said. Aarohi smiles hearing his words. She slowly gets up.

Aarohi leaves from there in her car. Kabir gets up and looks towards the direction from where Aarohi left.

Mujhe pata hai tum mujh par bharosa nahi karti. Par mujhe khushi hai ki tumne mujhse baat ki. Mujhe to laga tha ki tum phir se lad parogi.
Kabir laughs softly. He then goes to his car and leaves from there.
INT. Aarohi's ROOM - NIGHT
Aarohi goes back home, goes to her room, throws her bag, sits on the bed and starts crying. Her mom comes to the room and gets worried seeing her cry. She goes and sits beside Aarohi.
MOM
Aaru, kya hua beta? Ro kyu rahi ho? Kuch hua hai kya office mein?
Aarohi keeps her head on her mom’s shoulder and continues crying.
aAROHI
Ma, kya main itni buri ho ki koi mujhe bardaasht na kar paaye?
MOM
Yeh kya bol rahi ho tum? Tum bilkul bhi buri nahi ho. Tum to meri strong beti hu. Par achanak se yeh sab kyu bol rahi ho? Kya hua?
Aarohi sits up straight.
aAROHI
Aaj jab main office mein thi tab mujhe Karan ka call aaya. Usne kaha ki wo mujhse break up karna chahta hai kyunki wo mera attitude aur ego bardaasht nahi kar sakta. Usne yeh bhi kaha ki main uski zindagi kharab kar dungi. Yeh sab mere sath hi kyu hota hai Ma?
Mom cups Aarohi's face.

Aarohi nods her head and wipes her tears. She goes to the washroom to change her clothes. Her mom leaves from the room. Aarohi lies down on the bed, picks up her phone and sees Kabir's message.

Aarohi smiles reading the message. She messages him back.

INT. Kabir's HOUSE - NIGHT
Kabir is lying down on the couch, his phone in his hand. He reads Aarohi's message and smiles. He types his message.
Kabir's MESSAGE
Thank you ki zaroorat nahi hai. Har kisi ko ek aisa insaan chahiye hota hai jo uske sath rahe aur stress kam kare. Vaise, mujhe nahi lagta ki tum itni impossible ho jitna maine socha tha.

Aarohi reads the message and laughs. She types her message.

AAROHI

kABIR

Aarohi leaves from the cabin. She collects her things from her desk and leaves from the office.

Aarohi sits in her car and as soon as she is about to leave, she sees Kabir's car window down. She sees him struggling to start his car. She pulls her window down.
aAROHI
Kya hua Kabir? Kuch problem hai kya?
kABIR
Ha. Aaj meri gaadi ne mujhe dhokha de diya. Achanak se band ho gayi.
aAROHI
Well, main tumhari gaadi to nahi theek kar sakti par tumhe ghar zaroor chhod sakti hu.
kABIR
That’s really sweet of you but don’t worry, I’ll manage.
aaROHI
Tum pichle 10 minute se koshish kar rahe ho manage karne ki. Come, I'll drop you. Chinta mat karo, main khaa nahi jaaungi tumhe.

Kabir gets off his car and goes and sits in Aarohi's car. Aarohi starts driving the car. She turns on the radio. 'Saiyaara by Shreya Ghoshal' starts playing.

Aarohi looks at Kabir happily.

Kabir gets off the car and before entering his house he looks back once at Aarohi. He smiles and waves his hand. Aarohi waves back and leaves from there. Kabir goes inside his house.

Mom goes to the kitchen while Aarohi sits with Kabir. After sometime, mom comes from the kitchen with a plate in her hand. She keeps the plate on the center table and sits on the couch.

After a few days, Aarohi is in her room looking for clothes in her closet.

Aarohi is in her mom’s room looking for clothes in the closet. Some clothes fall down. She bends down to pick up the clothes. Her eyes go on a file named ‘Kunal Awasthi’. She picks up the file.
aAROHI
Yeh konsi file hai aur ispe papa ka naam kyu likha hai?
She opens the file and sees the name of her dad’s killer. She notices the name ‘Vikram Mehra’. She gets shocked.

Tears start rolling down her cheeks. She gets up and takes the file with her.

Aarohi goes to the kitchen where her mom is preparing breakfast.

Aarohi goes to Arjun, bends down and hugs him tightly. She breaks down crying. She pulls back and wipes her tears.

They suddenly hear music from outside. Arjun comes running to the room.

Arjun runs outside. Aarohi blushes. Mom looks at her emotionally.

Bas kuch pal aur. Phir tu mujhse door chale jaayegi.
Aarohi gets up and turns towards her mom.

Aarohi hugs her mom, tears rolling down her eyes.

Mom holds on to Aarohi a little longer. Music continues playing outside.

The baraat comes dancing while Kabir is sitting on the white horse. Arjun comes outside, dancing and recording videos. Aarohi comes to her balcony and sees Kabir. Kabir looks up at Aarohi and admires her. Aarohi teases him signaling him that he looks mid but Kabir signals her saying that she looks beautiful. They both give each other a flying kiss. Kabir gets off the horse and walks towards the house, while the baraat keeps dancing. Arjun comes and stops Kabir from going inside.
ArJUN
Kidhar?
KABIR
Tumhari didi se milne.
ARJUN
Aise nahi. Pehle paise do phir hi milne dunga didi se.
Kabir pulls his cheeks.
KABIR
Apne jija ji ko rokega?
ARJUN
Paise kamaane ka isse acha mauka thodi na milega. Pehle paise phir milna.
Kabir pulls out his wallet. He takes out 10 rupees and gives it to Arjun.

INT. AAROHI'S HOUSE - EVENING
Aarohi and Kabir are sitting in the mandap while the priest is performing the rituals. The priest looks at Aarohi's mom.
Priest
Ladki ke kanyadaan ke liye aage aaiye.
Mom comes and performs the kanyadaan. The priest continues chanting.
PrIEST
Ab var aur vadhu pheron ke liye khade ho sakte hai.
Aarohi and Kabir start walking around the sacred fire performing the pheras and taking vows. After seven pheras, they both sit back in their places. The priest continues chanting. Kabir applies sindoor on Aarohi's head. He then ties mangalsutra around her neck.
PRIEST
Yeh vivaah samapt hota hai. Aaj se aap dono pati-patni hain. Bhagwan aap dono ko hamesha sukhi rakhein.
Aarohi and Kabir look at each other, smiling.
ext. OUTSIDE HOUSE - EVENING
Aarohi's mom stands beside her with rice plate in her hands. Aarohi takes a handful of rice and throws it over her head, behind her. Tears start rolling down her eyes. Arjun looks at her and starts tearing up while recording the video.
Aarohi turns around and hugs her mom tightly. They both start crying. Arjun comes and hugs both of them. Aarohi slowly walks towards Kabir who waits beside the car. He opens the door for her. They both sit in the car. Before driving away, Aarohi looks one last time at her mom, Arjun and her house. The car drives away from there.
FADE OUT.
