Teddy's Blues

A teddy I am, feather filled,

Bought by anyone, punched by anyone,

A teddy I am, feather filled,

Can only smile, no one would buy me otherwise,

Given when young, thrown away when old,

A teddy I am, feather filled,

Mouth sewn shut, A fake nose on top of it,

Clothes can’t change, ears too big to hold,

Eyes sewn on top of it, born in factories,

A teddy I am, feather filled,

Hugged when scared, no attention during the day,

Sat on, Spitted on,

Put in machines and all of it,

Exhausting my little body,

A teddy I am, feather filled,

Kept for five years, forgotten after that,

Replaced with new toys, thrown away in a dustbin.

Clothes Unfitting, don’t like my own look,

Never comforted, only used for comforting,

Hugged during the night, left alone in the day,

A teddy I am, feather filled
