Teachers for Special children

A submission to Teachers and supporting staff of Schools to care Special children.

It has been in my mind for quite sometime about the Special schools and Institutions serving and taking care of the special children affected by various kinds of disability by birth and ordeal of parents and Institutions in respect of education and general improvements necessary for their survival. The society is aware of this and many interested people in the society engaged in serving these children and conducting special schools finding it extremely difficult to serve these children for their education, well being and with an ultimate view to provide them a life in the society.

To speak of these children I would like to submit that many of them are quite capable of learning and understanding and as a result of proper care exemplified their capabilities during special programs. Some cannot speak, some are violent, some are fearful, some can sing some can operate a keyboard and like this the abilities are innumerable . All these are possible and these can be further developed and parents can be relived to a great extent in taking care of these children.

Apart from financial problems faced by the schools the main problem is to secure good teaching team as their service is very much needed by schools to achieve a success and in directly a service for families and society.

I will come to the main point now. Serving as a teacher to such special children in schools is to be termed as not only a teacher but also needs a special behavior of a kind service unlike schools caring normal children. Their dedication their soft and skilful handling and abundant patience unmindful of remuneration and keeping in view the service and care needed for looking after them as these People are part of society and entitled to a proper life and care.

I am confident that these special teachers and supporting people will realize their responsibility and I feel they are ordained by Almighty to take it as a responsibility to serve with dedication wilfully. I bless them all all the best in life.

The very purpose of my emphasis and conveying my submission to those who have taken up employment to serve as Teachers in special schools meant for these children should bear in mind only the aim of service to care them properly as dedicated service.

The society will really wonder if I express clearly that your relationship with these children is not merely a teacher but extends beyond to portray as a best companion ,a friend and a care taker and this aspect is better known to all parents.

The amazing achievements by special children to the extent of elevating them to join the main stream of normal children is a clear proof of dedicated teaching team.
