सूरज और सागर
सूरज की किरणें अनगिनत !
सागर के बस दो ही तीर?
दोनों में प्रचंड तीव्रता,
दोनों ही अपने में अगाध,
दोनों ही तो हैं गंभीर।
सागर में प्रवाह प्रबल है,
लहरें उठतीं अनेक।
अथाह कल नाद उठाता,
इसके भीतर का नीर।
सूरज है स्रोत प्रकाश का
कर संचार ऊर्जा का
प्रातः हरता प्राणी-प्राणी की पीर।
सागर को गर मिले प्रसार सूर्य-सा,
संसार को जल निमग्न कर सकता है।
विध्वंस कर प्रचंड लहरों से
जीवन जग से हर सकता है।
इसीलिए दो किनारों में वो सीमित,
और सूर्य की किरणें हैं अतुलित।
पोषण जग का करती हैं,
देकर ऊर्जा और प्रकाश, कण-कण को
जग की पीड़ा हरती हैं।
