Sun & Sunflower

I wish we had what the sun and sunflower has

The unspoken abundance of love

One giving life to the other from above,

Only blossoming to the sunny jazz

Hiding her beauty, for moon is not the same

As the fiery warmth of his flame,

But they are not really perfect -

Her cry echoes through the dark night

While he shines brighter on the other side

For, she is dependent for her life on his sight,

For him, she is just another delight

He continues shining, never losing his pride.
