As the night sets in, I get a whiff of something pleasant, A deep musky scent, That fills every corner of my room, Entangling me into those long lost memories; Memories of you. I lay my eyes on that white dainty flower That has bloomed in the balcony, Soaking up the moonlight; My emotions brimmed up; As I take your name, I can feel my voice quivering; My lips part, Desirous of your delicate kiss, My body wanting to feel your warm touch, I close my eyes; Losing myself into a pool of thoughts Thoughts of you. I seem to be hallucinating; I hear your husky voice, That cuts through the dead silence Of the night.

It's been years; I still feel your presence around me, As I stoop down To place my home grown flower, At your grave; The flower that you once loved Fully bloomed Tonight.
