Sucked In

Playing a game once I was,

Until I got sucked in, body and all.

There was a misty feeling in the air,

The character jumped and gave me a scare.

He gave me a mike and told me to sing,

To make the audience’s ears ring.

I sang and sang, for a decade it seemed,

At last, until they fell asleep and dreamed.

About a land made of candy,

That made a sweet tooth come in handy.

The chef was happy and to me he said,

“Time to go back to bed.”

And then I awoke to a fascinating dream,

That was a funny adventure it seems.
