Life is to be celebrated, but everyday in our indefinite stay on the planet are not celebrated. It is simply because of the trials and adversities that we face in our routine. Stress is not actually a problem, it's the outcome of the problem. It is the inability to deal with the pressures which adds up either due to our own anticipations or the expectations of fellow beings. The ways in handling stress can be worst ever like addiction over something that's not good for oneself and the others as well. It can also be angry outbursts or irritability over petty issues. While some seek solitude stepping away from the companions, others decide to quit everything forgetting why they started. The bitter reason for mentioning them as the worst is they are not solution based measures one can opt for. Moreover, the health effects are completely unsavoury. This ranges from losing hair strands to losing one's life. Having said that, sleep is indirectly proportional to our emotional mismanagement, the so called stress.
To enjoy the most beautiful thing in life, which is the life itself, we ought to combat the stress that we come across. For instance, in a hectic day when we are snowed under work, anxiety and mood swings are some unwelcoming guests to make a person totally exhausted. In such circumstances, Centralising ourselves on progression rather than perfection is a better idea as tearing the hair out is of no use. Happiness is purely subjective. Over a period of time, we become expertise in handling the built-up stress but understanding the root source of the problem helps us find the best possible solution.
Other methods include writing down the issues that weighs more as it can help us to self analysis. Talking to a trustworthy friend, the best pychologist ever or a wellwisher or connecting oneself to the optimistic social support network calm down the messy mind. Good music can make one feel relaxed. Bathing in warm water and getting a good sleep can be comforting to the body. Any form of physical exercises can be useful to a great extent both for the body and the mind. Consuming the food stuff that tempts you the most can also be a happiness drug that treats stress triggers. Reminiscing about the good memories, being grateful for the things that have been received, avoiding overthinking process are some good deeds that we can serve to ourselves. Time spent with the nature like listening to the birds chirpings, smelling the fresh fragrances in air, watching a sunset, taking a break and hanging out somewhere for a breezy ride or trekking are the most effective therapy sessions ever.Exploring the air of new places help us refresh ourselves Transformation of the stressful feelings into optimistic energy like poems, crafts or photography or organizing the house is highly beneficial.Conversation with little ones is a guaranteed mood booster. Directing ourselves in the breaths we take helps us to be mindful thereby making one live in the present. Positive self-talk which is also called the conversation with the universe is very significant to our well being. Our tools for coping strategies become efficient in the years of experience.
Learning from mistakes or difficulties is what makes a human being, humane. Forgiving oneself and the others even if they're not sorry heals the mind from any trauma and remembering that everything happens for a reason (the biggest cliché in the world) is the answer to the unanswerable questions in the past. Trusting the time of your life makes one foresee future with utmost confidence. When these two are achieved, peace of mind flows like a perennial river in the present🕐 like a present🎁. The famous quote “Having a challenging story to write in your autobiography is something the best survival tip you can lend someone in need” is really true. But challenging stories and stressful situations are always made for each other!
