About the Work
"Strength Laden Houra of Four" touches on themes of inner conflict, emotional estrangement, and the burden of silence. Seema crafts a narrative that juxtaposes the tangible battles of war with the intangible struggles of personal relationships. The poem's mood is somber, reflective, and deeply human, as it explores the emotional chasm that can grow between loved ones. Through a soldier's eyes, Seema poignantly examines the cost of war beyond the battlefield.

Strength Laden Hours of Four...
Am a merciless man combating at the battle field
Enemies and their evils, merely things to deal
Never a bit of hesitation nor the sense of guilt
Killing is my passion,my heart is stone-built
Years I spend in theis wicked play,
Hundreds killed and more I can slay.
In the longing just to see her again,
I could pay everything, take every pain
And the day I come back home,
Her anger greets me a welcome,
The loneliness of her eyes halves me into two,
Turning the rainbows of my gaiety into
shades of blue
And there's silence budding all around,
I reluctantly speak and she doesn't hears a sound,
Blank stances then begin filling the space,
Strangulates me dearths of her blooming grace.
And slowly the night seeps in between,
She is merciless now over my every sin,
Sleeping besides ne with horizons of a lifetime,
A wall of silence contrives, that won't ever sublime
She sleeps dozing off her back on my face
Empowering that monster to consume me in its embrace,
The silence grins and grins as grows the
night,
Feeble I'm, she's the one I could never fight
And scared ,I sitting at the corner pray,
May this wall shatter with the new day,
I gather my courage once again as I step outside the door,
Am a soldier standing tall at the strength laden hours of four
