We are mortals, we come, we play and we die. Playing the part sincerely is very important, that is why there is this process called self-discovery. It becomes evident and enlightening as we age.
As mortals we have one thing that is constant and eternal and that is ‘hope’. Closing of all doors might tend to darken our world, but, even if we find a tiny sliver of light glimmering, we will hold on to that with everything. The other word that resonates with hope is ‘optimism’. We always want to give everything a sweet start, even if we are starting over, in same situations, and around the same people. Therefore, sometimes give a sweet start to say a sweet ‘goodbye’. Goodbyes even though may be ‘bitter-sweet’, they teach us that, or precisely remind us that we are mortals. As the saying goes, we are made of Earth and will return to be a part of it again.
Mother Earth as unbiased as she is, will accept all of us in her arms and she will provide us comfort. This unbiased nature is irrespective of whether or not we achieved something bigger that ourselves, whether or not we were kind, forgiving, accepting and also her care is irrespective of whether or not we were egoistic. The rich and the poor will be cremated on the same ground, so it is hard to comprehend and agree with this inequality.
This, however is not for anyone to stop being ambitious, or to stop earning more because providing for your family is another way to leave your legacy. Humans wish to be remembered regardless of whether they achieved greatness in their career or life, earned a lot of money or lived a righteous life. Leaving your legacy does show a person’s care of their own people and love is important and will not be understood, if not expressed.
Summing up everything, we as humans wish to be larger than life, and therefore, have pressure of providing for family, being good people, and leaving behind enough wealth and so we keep running and sometimes are not sure if we really are on the right path, if the horizon will be in view or if this is the right way to go about life. But, none of us really do.
So why not once in a while stop, breath, love and repeat!!
