About the Artwork
Cara Mikaela Grobler's "Still" invites us into moments of life where movement seems absent and clarity elusive. According to the artist, these periods can test our faith more profoundly than life's turbulent moments. The artwork serves as a gentle reminder of the power of stillness. Through peaceful reflection, it provokes a deeper trust in a constant presence, as inspired by Psalm 46:10 - "Be still, and know that I am God." This stillness, far from being a lack of faith, is an act of believing in unseen workings.
