Star -Crossed Love

Our love is strong,

Our love is true,

A love so strong

Then should it be wrong ?

When the sky is grey

I look at you,

The darkness drifts away .

Your love is an awakening to the day,

A warmth in the heart

And the strength not to fray.

It’s a love so deep discerning

Serenity of the soul,

Bringing with it

A happiness untold .

A love so real

But the world condemns,

Is it really

Really upto them ?

Is what you and I have

Called Star-crossed Love?

With a love so strong

Can we not overcome

This hailing storm ?

But should you have to walk away,

I’ll set you free

And I will pray

That we find our way.

Though now separate we must be,

Together again we shall be.

Whether a day on earth

Or a day in Heaven.
