Spring Remembrance / A Winter Fire

Updated: Aug 21

By Mukesh Choudhry

"The lonesome bird,

She spreads her wings again."

I sing for the night;

As our suns dawn in-to rain

Beyond those fogging snows

That tired eyes surrender to,

Those stained, mired window panes.

"The flight echoes, as she follows,

Her song leads me home."
