Sponge

Wasted on that empty fight

I was told the truth of light

Looked upon the risk of fright

Pesky in the plunging white,

Stumbling with profanity

Took to rise intensity

Questioned my insanity

Subtly poured my vanity,

Not a grain that took the side

Held upon the thought inside

It was all thy hurt offside

That I sponged away for the hide!
