Speaking Alarm

Rahul is tired from his school homework and going to sleep when he sets the alarm for the next day. He is too tired and dozz off. At night he dreams that he is getting late for school and all his daily tasks are disturbed again as he started his day late. Suddenly his mom calls him Rahul Rahul and his eyes open. He realizes that it was just a dream and he is on time yet again because of his supermom. He gets ready for school and wish he had an alarm who would speak to him and tell him all his tasks to do them time to time.

At breakfast table he tells this to his mom. His mom laughs at his childish dream and tells him to go to school. At school during recess time, he tells all this to his friends. They laugh at him and tells him that he is still a little boy. He keeps thinking about the speaking alarm in class and when teacher asked him to solve a question, he gave answer as alarm. Everyone started laughing at him as the teacher punished him.

When the school bell rang Rahul left at last as he was punished. He started walking towards his home with a gloomy face. He was passing by when he saw an alarm clock at the corner of the road. He picked it up and saw that it was looking like a new one. He brings it to his room and starts telling it what all he needs to do the next day. While having dinner he thinks to tell his mom about the alarm but thinking that she will again laugh and make fun of him he leaves the topic. 

Now at night Rahul sets the alarm for morning 6 am and tells the alarm to wake him up so that he can go for playing cricket as its Sunday tomorrow and its Rahul’s hobby to play cricket on holidays. He says good night to the alarm and dozz off. Next morning, he hears the sound “Wake up Rahul its 6 am, Wake up! Its your time to play cricket”. Rahul wakes up and sees that the alarm is speaking to him and telling him to do his daily tasks. He feels happy as his dream come true and now his mom won’t have to worry about his schedule. His new alarm is there to take care of his daily schedule. His “Speaking Alarm” his new best friend!
