Sparrows Fly

Sparrows fly…

Free of shackles,

Answering only to the Creator,

Wings slicing through morning light,

Song unburdened, effortless, joyous,

Without fear, without malice, without regret.

Humans…

Humans stumble through shadows,

Complex, confused, cacophonic,

Entwined in cruelty and grief,

Shackled by guilt, envy, and despair,

Blind to the simplicity of His intention.

In the shadow of things that should not return,

There is a lesson whispered by sparrows:

That life cannot be unbound,

That some chains, when broken, can destroy,

And that true freedom the mind’s flight

Comes not from resurrection,

But from acceptance, release, and hope.

Humans…

We are all bound in ways unseen,

By sorrow, by malice, by the weight of our own making,

Yet even in the chaos, even in the blood-soaked pages,

There exists a moment

A tipping point where the mind finds air,

Where hope is restored,

And the sparrow within lifts its wings once more.

The sparrow knows no fear of darkness,

No hate, no vengeance, no shame,

It moves as it is made to move,

Answering only to the Creator,

Unshackled, unafraid, untamed.

Even in our faltering, fragmented, chaotic human selves,

Even when we stumble over, shadow, cruelty, and grief,

There is a path where the mind’s sparrow lifts,

A path beyond fear, beyond guilt, beyond darkness,

To the place where freedom lives,

Where the Creator watches,

And the sparrow sings again.
