Soulful Confessions to Lord Muruga

By Aarthi Ramachandran

Loneliness for being labeled a certain way made her shy away from her true self,

The drapes clung to her eyes, her inner strength struggling to see who she really is through the books on the shelf.

No amount of knowledge helped, no self-help content, a deep remedy,

Her pain had become numb, her world limited, an explorative life reduced to a looped tragedy.

Lord Muruga was her answered prayer, a blessing that appeared through pain as well as relief,

He made her feel, cry, express, and release all the hardened blocks in her heart, her stuck grief.

She was gifted a second chance to heal and be true to her recovery,

No amount of money or comfort could buy her this truth, to help set her free.
