Soul Tie

Updated: Aug 28

By Valentine Melkudi

Often, I feel this void inside me grow.

This summer warmth would not last forever,

it would be just a lone cold endeavor.

The speed of life without thee would be slow,

when I will lay alone, and thou will go.

Thou art rare, hope thee would not leave. Never.

Will this eerie void come to cease? Ever?

Will this bright summer sand forever glow?

The void can swallow but cannot change truth.

Purest truth of thou art mine and I thine.

Thou art my destiny. The rest is lie.

A void shall not decide my destined fruit.

Our souls united, one as they define.

No can divide our hearts. We are soul tie.
