Going where I must,

Pausing only to take a breath.

Marching onto paths of dust,

Only for doubt to cloud my steps.

For realisation dawns upon my head,

Bright and bold.

Perhaps the journey that lies ahead

Is the true beauty to behold.

So I dance in joy and play,

And believe how blissful it is not to know every way.

Finally, I take a moment to etch it into my mind,

But alas! The clock reminds me that time is not so kind.

For by the time I meet my destiny,

My heart seems lost in an odd melancholy.
