Solitude

When I sit aside all by my side;

Escaping the world full of snide.

All left is just me and my thoughts;

In the company of the things I once sought.

The silence I adore,

My solitude I cherish,

Away from the nightmarish things

That are destined to perish.

In the stillness,

I see the beauty;

Every tiny thing holds.

Oh such a sight to behold!

In the silence my soul travels,

A world where mysteries unravel.

A world full of allure,

Could I be here forever? I'm still unsure.
