Solitary

Changes, we say are temporary

But they stay permanent under the hood

Between our minds and our hearts

We are evolving, each one as ourselves

The childhood cacophony has evolved into this restless lifestyle

The mindless games have taken direction

The ever haunted nights have become our sole joy

The silence is what we crave

The darkness within us that we ever so willing decide to turn into a halo

That's when we decide to choose happiness for us

We know that does not come with a flower bed

But the bruises and cuts turn into the most pleasurable echoes

It becomes the sweet smile on our faces, the glow in our eyes, the positivity of our soul

We just fail to understand it

But those litter bit moments we do realize the inner meanings

We know in ourselves that we are truly happy
