Soliloquy

Little did I know, one day, I woke at the dawn, in a weird trance, with surprising thought dance. Looked up at the ceiling, rotating fan glazed, worked up to the door, daunting darkness swayed.

Cold as it was, stars were fading by, somewhere in the world, a soul was waiting by. Little did I know, things were beyond me, what made me alive, was killing me slow by piece.

Something shattered long, poked the old scar, all that I know of, bled once in for all. For every drop that spilled, one more got made, looking to the light, made me wonder again.
