Soar

Your wings have grown

Its strong and ready for flight,

My heart will forever be near

Even when you are out of sight.

Your adventure has just begun

Over the horizon and beyond the skies,

I saw it in you from the beginning

In those big curious baby eyes.

His blood, He shed for your protection

And forever you'll be covered by His grace,

Patiently I'll await your return

Until I see your handsome face.

I love you my son

From before until forever more,

So take flight, be brave

Chase your dreams as you soar.
