You try to sabotage me

Because I am one of you And just one of you

Nothing exceptional

And very well relatable

So why should I?

Go that extra mile

Walk with my head held high And aspire to be

All of those things, that you Dream secretely and silently So why should I?

Be confident and loud

When I am but one of you And just one of you

When you hide your dreams Under all of your fears of failure Embarrassment, and

Loneliness

So why should I?

Be so carefree

But you must know this

Your jealousy won't sabotage The one who has no malice The one who follows their heart With all that they have.

The one who doesn't let fear Get the best of them.
