Snooze Snoop

Why! Why!

Can’t just lie, I!

This is what inside screams

On the outside I shine shiny beams

Time ahead, ahoy matey!

Is fate twisted spaghetti?

Is it still the same claim?

Hanging over the endless flame?

Tired of the lies

Of the plaster skies

Of the 100-1000 disguise

Of gloom, rise rise rise

Maybe its not that bad

Feeling feelings that make me sad I wonder what I would see

If, ifs were meant to be

What I would flee

Turning back over glee

Won’t know how butterflies felt

And how a single word can melt

Experience, experience you gave me Apartheid my town in your city, gee! Lone in mob I may look, by the brook There’s spine chilling horde in me, crook

There’s this conundrum, the dilemma To move fro virtuous or offence to still stay Shook shook off the sclerenchyma Bommerangs back at the end of the day

Maybe maybe I am used to it

The pain, the vain & ruinous innards unlit Maybe the answers spook, haunt Questions question I flaunt, daunt

Am I flying? Or flowing with the wind Unwilling or unable to escape the grind Stuck in sucked in the loop

Swirl up, swirl down, snooze snoop.
