Snehith's Poems
By Pavan Snehith
1)
Sadness coming through in waves,
Making me breathless and wary.
Everytime i survive a wave,
Bearing its brunt and weathering it's wrath,
There's another one ripe to engulf me in its might.
Like a boxer who wades through punch after punch,
Yet is always in peril of being laid,
I fear the imminence of a wave which might
take me out with it.
2)
Colours of Hopes.
The spring leaves wither the woes of the winter,
Ushering into the glitter and splendour of the summer
The Rustic Woods, mirror the light of the sun,
As they shimmer and glister, making the day better.
Oh! The wonders of the summers of mother nature,
For they are the colours of my hopes.
3)
The Forgotten home and it's Lost Ones
The contempt it's familiarity bred has turned to longing;
A longing for the lost and the unremarkable;
A longing for its savoriness, mistaken for stench.
A longing for a catharsis to purge the macabre dread.
A longing for hope, for it breathes life into life.
4)
From dusk till dawn,
The spirit goes on and on.
Through the trenches of the blues
And the summits of the glees ,
LIfe goes on like the rolling reels.
The body might drain and the wit might wilt,
But the spirit goes on and on,
From dusk till dawn.
5)
TRANSIENCE OF EXISTENCE
GONE, I AM,
Just like that.
Not a swan song;
Not a faint trace left.
Just a faded memory,
Of regret or regale.
A remnant of its time.
Just like that,
I AM GONE.
6)
A ways away from all the glare
A ways away from all the despair
A million miles, for the voices to dim
A million miles, to hear from within.
