Small Talk

ਛੋਟੀ ਜਿਹੀ ਗੱਲ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਏ,

ਕਿਸੇ ਨਾਲ ਟਕਰਾਅ ਜਾਣਾ,

ਰਾਹਾਂ 'ਚ ਰੁੱਕ ਜਾਣਾ,

ਤੇ,

ਕਿਸੇ ਦੀ ਜਿੰਦਗੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਦਖਲ ਦੇਣਾ।

ਵੱਡੀ ਗੱਲ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਏ,

ਕਿਸੇ ਦਾ ਹਮਦਰਦ ਬਣਨਾ,

ਤੇ,

ਓਹਦਾ ਦਰਦ ਆਪਣੀ ਰੂਹ ਤੇ ਹਢਾਉਣਾ।

ਓਸ ਤੋਂ ਵੀ ਵੱਡੀ ਗੱਲ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਏ,

ਕਿਸੇ ਦੀ ਰੂਹ 'ਚ ਉਤਰ ਜਾਣਾ,

ਤੇ,

ਉਸ ਦਾ ਆਪਣੇ ਆਪ ਨਾਲ ਮੇਲ ਕਰਾਉਣਾ।

ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਡੀ ਗੱਲ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਏ,

ਡਿੱਗਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਨੂੰ ਉਠਾਉਣਾ,

ਤੇ,

ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮੁੜ ਸੁਰਜੀਤ ਕਰਨਾ।

It's a small matter,

clash with someone

stop in the way

on,

Interfere in someone's life.

It's a big deal.

to sympathize with someone,

on,

Taking his pain on our soul.

There is a bigger thing than that,

to get into one's soul,

on,

Reconciling him with himself.

The biggest thing is,

raising the fallen,

on,

And

Reviving them.
