Silver Lining

Deep inside there was darkness, no light

Thoughts over thoughts like covering grass with frost

Hopes were shattered, reality came to light

Experiencing this was a new phase of life

No doubt colourful life suddenly lost its glee

But glad that masks were uncovered, new faces could see

Reel came at par with real, no scope for plea

Then came a thought , accepting the actual slot!

So what, colours faded

So what, hopes were shaken

Reaffirm hopes, rebuild the plans

Glad I have actual scenario at hand

Glad this phase taught a new thing

It’s a silver lining !
