Silence sounds louder than the wind -NPDSR (A poem about trauma and peace)

When you are used to the wind

Sweeping you off your feet

Taking you to places with no roof to cover you from the rain

When you are used to the wind

Pulling down your walls

Leaving you exposed when you just wanted safety

When you are used to wind

Digging into your ears

Shutting your eyes

Clogging your nose

Blowing a smile onto your face

As the air suffocates you slowly

Dimming down, stand your ground

No more wind.

Clear skies

start to look scary.

When you are used to the wind,

The silence sounds louder than wind
