Shout Out To Working Moms

By Rajeev Nair

Is there anything a mother can’t fix,

Be it evening four or morning six,

Making home out of house made of them bricks,

Momma where do you hide your bag of magic tricks!

Check this!

Hanging and holding on to your umbilical cord,

Kudos to your struggle with a champ on board!

Pinnacle of wisdom, our own preaching sage,

A holy citadel on this big earthly stage!

Waiting nine long months to hear that first cry,

Oh, little bit of heaven dropped from the sky,

From womb to world, that's a natural high

Did you ever nap without singing a lullaby??

They change your schedule though helpless and small,

Making their needs known they rule overall,

Antics and adventures, rise and crawl,

Momma where did you hide my Simba and football?

And I say, the word 'Mom' is a monopoly,

Bursting syllables for your love, care, and harmony

Of all the raps, here I just raise my bar,

Crux is all about working moms in the radar!

Home vs Work, how do you to get it right?

When a pile of task is already on the sight!

How do you balance, your eyes set to scan,

All those emails, chats & cakes on the pan.

Working from home, managing time is your best bet,

Laptop in your hand, you go on to feed your little pet!

Culinary skills and valor so inflammable,

How quintessential you are, cent percent compatible!

Adaptable and practical, overtime looks so magical,

Catastrophic weather all day, your energy so expandable!

One rush two rush, and Platinum client,

'Monster under the bed' momma save me from this Giant!

Attending meetings and household chores,

Shoutout to every working Mom,

Almighty couldn't be everywhere,

And so, He took this human form!
