She is looking at that fire
Like its it's the most intriguing thing she's seen,
A smile forms and you wonder,
What in it, kept her so keen
But if you look more closely,
You'll see that it isn't exactly a smile,
Yes she's smiling, but not really,
Not at all, with her eyes
Her vision's so fixated on those flames,
Like she's searching deep within
Something she's lost,
Or maybe answers to her questions?
Her eyes are now watering,
You'd think it's probably all that smoke,
But maybe it's her answer,
And that, the fire finally spoke
You can tell that whatever she's feeling right now,
It's from the fire, and it isn't, warmth
For she's learnt that too much of it,
Has only burnt houses down
Suddenly, there came a gust of wind,
It's strength, that of a storm,
The fire that was burning, no more
Those flames had died down
She closes her eyes for that moment,
You'd think it's over, all done
But look again, and it's certain
She and the fire, have become one
Then teary eyed, now burning with fury
Her head for sure, has turned
Now someone decided to play with fire,
Are they, prepared to burn?
