She Is A Storyteller

A calm summer night

Filled with stars in the sky

She stared out the window

Watching people walk by

Someone found a new hello

Somebody got a goodbye

She waited for her story

But it never came by

She has fears she cannot escape

Feelings she cannot deny

Losing herself in people's stories

She lets life pass her by

She is a shadow of her former self

But she has never felt so much better

Then, she only heard stories

Now she is a storyteller
