Set Me Free

Red,

I took it like an astray,

as it was burning bright as day,

can already feel the effect,

lapsing the defect,

mind light as air,

thoughts heavy as rain,

looked back in time,

into the nostalgic crime,

to relive the pain,

making sure everything went in vain,

snapped back to reality,

not sanity,

for more I grieve,

from the past deed,

cries the broken heart,

to despair the depart.

I sin,

for the lost kin,

seeking attention,

in lost dimension,

questioning the choices,

suppressing unheard voice.

Oh it’s burnt to console

leaving ashes on my soul,

set me free,

For I want to flee.
