A poem i inspired by Dan Whitlam

Look at you

Sabotaging everything that's right

Because you feel like you need a reason not to deserve.

Start celebrating yourself and preserve.

Fears deeply rooted in shades of the temporary.

Searching for the glee in your eyes in a library.

Maybe that's why we're afraid of the recipe of loving someone or something.

But sit yourself down and talk to God

Tell him what's on your mind.

And you'll be surprised by what you find.

Don't let your love language be self sabotage.

Let embracing be self love and appreciation be a part of your collage.

A collection healing that feels like a heart massage.

It's about time you realise how powerful your space really is.

Open up your heart you don't know what you could truly miss.

Realise there's so many moments to love for.

Laughs captured,now that's something to live for.

A relationship you can work on.

Spend time with your friends even if it's just you four.

So,don't be the thief of your own euphoria.

Judging each kind gesture because it doesn't meet your criteria.

So start with the man or the woman in the mirror.

And the Lord be your anchor.
